See Yah Summertime!

Well, it's official. The end of summer is upon us. Really, I saw it coming we all did. The days on the calendar just kept flying by, and time certainly wasn't slowing down. Nonetheless, it's happening, it's ending.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love fall just as much probably more than the next person, but summer has been pretty great. that being said, it's time to wind down on the summer fun, and get ready for fall. I have so many things to do in order to get ready for back to school, fall around our home, and of course, football season, but I can't do any of that without bidding adieu to summer.
I'm sharing a few of my favorite things to do to properly close out the fabulous summer months!
This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine, and as always, we thank you for supporting the brands that support Savvy Southern Belle.

1. Print off summer pictures and change frames. I don't know about you, but I take a LOT of pictures, and seeing all of the memories around my home brings me a serious bit of nostalgia. Whether I'm buying new frames, or just switching the photos on my old ones, it warms my heart to see all the pictures of us basking in the sun.
2. Put away bright summer decor. This ones hard for me, because I HATE HAVING A BARE HOUSE. But there is something incredibly peaceful about having a clean slate to start my fall decorations. I usually leave the walls bare for about a week (two weeks if I'm being lazy) before I start decorating for fall, so I can properly asses where everything is going to go.
3. Organize your closet. Oh my ew. Why am I even saying this one. Cleaning out my closet is such a chore, but y'all, it has to be done. I start putting the tank tops and sun dresses away, or at least moving them to the back of my closet. Mostly to asses what fab fall clothes I have, and what I need to buy, but really, it's a necessary evil.
4. Get a haircut! Your hair endures so much during the summer months. Sun, sand, chlorine and anything else you throw at it- literally! Groupon has you covered with their Health, Beauty & Wellness Groupons. With discounts ranging from 20%-85%, there's no way you can pass up the deals. What better way to cut out summer (you see what I did there) and trim your dead ends. I've used these tons of times, and I always find amazing deals on Groupon, and the Health, Beauty and Wellness deals are no exception. By snagging a health, beauty & wellness Groupon, you are sure to save money and find some awesome hairstylists!
What are you doing to say "See Yah Summertime?"

  10. It doesn't even remotely start to feel like fall here in SoCal until about late October-- I'm jealous of the areas that get to start welcoming fall so early!
