Finally taking a breath!

I've been home a little over a week from our Mexican adventure and I feel as though my life has been non stop since the minute I stepped on American soil again!

After returning home, I went right back to work the following day. While not only working, but decorating crosses (I got a HUGE shipment of wood in and just HAD to decorate it right away), and trying to actually maintain the other aspects of my life, I've neglected my blog, which I hate. But thats okay right? Right!

As a few other Dallas natives know, a new Whole Foods opened on Beltline in Addison. Luckily for me, this is right by one of the family's I nanny for and even closer to Thomas' house! With all the healthy eating and lifestyle changes I've been making, this couldn't have come at a better time!

Needless to say, I've been back 4 times since our first visit last week, and have fallen in love with the salad bar, and just about everything else there!

For date night this past week, Thomas and I decided to switch it up and go somewhere totally new. We tried out Coal Vines at The Shops at Legacy. Initially I was a little cranky.. It was hot, humid, and raining... Boooo! But once we got inside the restaurant all of that changed! For appetizer we shared their garlic bread which was topped with mozzarella cheese and came with a side of marinara sauce, and it was absolutely delicious! With that in mind, we carefully made our decision for our main meal. Of course it was Pizza, The White Special, to be exact, with sausage. We only got sausage because we had no idea they had chicken as well... Which we would have preferred, but regardless, it was AMAZING!

For $15 we got this massive pizza! I know it doesn't look that big in the picture, but it was huge! This was easily one of the best pizzas I've had, ever! Appetizer, main course and 2 drinks for under $30? That's my kinda date night! I rate it a 9 on a scale of 1-10. And that's saying something for me! If you've never been to Coal Vines, I highly recommend it! Also, if you're in the Addison area, check out the new Coal Vines opening in about 2 weeks on Beltline @ Look Cinemas, and if you do go, valet, and be sweet to the valet ;)

After this crazy busy last week, I'm so happy to finally have a night I can literally just sit at home, paint some crosses and catch up on my TV shows!

Hope everyone's week has been going great! Check out my Etsy this Friday to see all of my new crosses I've been working on!

XOXO- Tiffani

P.S.- Check out my latest Whole Foods find:
This is my new favorite! Although it's a little pricey, there are tons of flavors and this one tastes pretty good!
